Glacial Geology

Glacial Photo 1 Glacial Photo 2

We investigate the sedimentological, erosional, and geomorphological, records of former glaciers. Institute members seek answers to questions such as:
What was the shape and thermal regime of former glaciers?
What was the chronology of the expansion and contraction of former glaciers?
How accurately do glacier records record past climate changes?
